FAQ

What is a membership model?
The patient-doctor relationship is the central focus of membership model health care. Your doctor knows you and your values. Annual fees help us move beyond fee-for-service and procedure based heath care. We use enhanced communication strategies to develop a more thoughtful and personalized primary care experience.

Do I need insurance?
Yes. You do still need medical insurance. It is needed so that you can access laboratory testing, radiologic imaging, subspecialty care, and emergency room or hospital-based services.
-
What is concierge medicine?
A personalized approach to your health care. You have longer appointments and can communicate directly with your doctor when you need them. Annual exams are 90-120 minutes so that we can thoroughly review preventive health strategies. Instead of being limited to short in-person office visits, we can use a variety of tools to communicate with each other. If we cannot handle something through phone calls or electronic messages then you can see your doctor the same day or the next day. You receive efficient, enhanced, and supportive primary care service.
